Join MAXISIQ, develop smarter solutions, technologies, services, and actionable capabilities for our clients- right when they need it most.\n\nJob Description\n\nMAXISIQ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, with an emphasis in Linux-based systems and Splunk, but optimally with experience in a variety of other operating systems and platforms to support team operations in Quantico, VA. We are evaluating candidates on a continual basis for full-time openings on the horizon. Candidates with a minimum Top-Secret clearance need only apply. CI poly will be administered upon hiring.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nProviding enterprise virtualized environment support by providing high-end engineering; support Windows, and Linux workstations and Server-based services; and deployment and maintenance of systems supporting our customers\nMaintaining Splunk with Enterprise Security, keeping up to date and healthy, validating data inputs and dashboard creation and maintenance.\nProviding Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, Certificate Authority, Smart Card/PIV, Single Sign On, and other enterprise services\nProviding input to key project decisions with regard to success criteria for system requirements, design, testing methods, and delivery activities\nActively communicating with key program stakeholders regarding status of activities and potential recommendations for improvement regarding the customer's network and systems\nProblem solving and troubleshooting issues within the deployed systems\nPlanning, designing, developing and recommending enhancements and modifications to existing systems as well as any new systems scheduled for development\nSupporting management activities to include patch management and backups across deployed systems\nServing as key point of contact with regard to developing, recommending, implementing and testing disaster recovery plans\n\nMentoring junior staff to proactively diagnose and resolve complex problems\n\nQualifications\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Education:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Or equivalent experience)\n\nSecurity Clearance:\n\nTop Secret with CI Poly requirement after hire\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n6+ years related experience\nHands-on experience with Windows Server operating systems in addition to virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, KVM, Xen\nHands-on Windows based engineering: designing, building and troubleshooting experience\nExperience applying and working with Windows Group Policy Objectives (GPOs)\nExperience working with Windows Domain structures\nExperience with DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authorities\nExperience administering Linux in an enterprise\nHands-on experience with Linux operating systems\nSystems integration and troubleshooting experience\nBuild and configuration management experience to include Patch Management experience\nDISA STIG implementation experience\nKnowledge or familiarity with DevSecOps\nKnowledgeable about Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP\nCreative problem solving\nAbility to remain on task - self-motivated and a strong communicator\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\nHands-on VMware and Proxmox engineering preferred: design, build and troubleshoot\nInterest in managing task assignment and completion across multiple engineers\n\nAdditional Information\n\nBenefits of Joining Our Ranks\n\nCompetitive salary commensurate with your cyber warfare experience\nEmployer-subsidized health insurance\n401k match to secure your future\nGenerous paid time off for R&R\nTime off for volunteering missions\nHealth membership reimbursement to keep you in top form\nSupport for professional development and advanced training\n\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #CJ\n\nAt MAXISIQ, inclusion drives innovation.
