electrical systems, wiring diagrams, control panels, and electronic components for automatic pool cover products.\nCreate and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), wiring instructions, and engineering documentation.\nProgram, troubleshoot, and improve motor controls, sensors, limit switches, control boards, and related electrical components.\nCollaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical and mechanical systems into new and existing products.\nEvaluate new technologies, components, and suppliers to improve product performance, reliability, and cost.\nSupport new product development from concept through production launch.\nTroubleshoot electrical issues identified during manufacturing, testing, installation, or field service.\nPartner with Manufacturing to improve assembly processes, reduce defects, and increase production efficiency.\nDevelop and execute validation and reliability testing for electrical systems and components.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product failures and quality concerns.\nEnsure products comply with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain accurate revision control.\nProvide technical support and training to Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Field Service teams.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, cost reduction, and process optimization.\nAssist with prototype builds, product testing, and product certifications as needed.\nQualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.\n3–5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience designing low-voltage electrical systems, motor controls, and electromechanical products.\nProficiency with electrical CAD software for schematic design.\nKnowledge of electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.\nExperience with PLCs, embedded controls, microcontrollers, or motor drive systems is preferred.\nFamiliarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and lean manufacturing principles.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of electrical safety standards and best engineering practices.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nEffective collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nContinuous improvement mindset with attention to detail.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software applications.\nWorking Conditions Primarily works in an office environment with frequent interaction on the manufacturing floor.\nOccasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.\nMay require occasional travel to suppliers, customer sites, or field installations for testing and troubleshooting.\nPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during manufacturing support activities.\nAbility to inspect products and electrical assemblies, including close visual
