Security Engineer

Job Title: Security EngineerLocation: Cambridge, MA 02139 or Los Altos, CA (HQ) Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Role Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite 2 Days/Week (2 days onsite- Tuesday and Wednesday, 4x10 shift- off every Friday) Overview:Seeking a mid-level Security Engineer to support its research-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to balance security best practices while enabling innovation and flexibility for engineering and research teams.The team is specifically looking for an engineer who can operate autonomously, adapt to evolving environments, and work collaboratively with researchers without becoming overly process- or policy-heavy. The focus is on enablement and practical security solutions rather than rigid governance.
