Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group in the Fort Collins or Denver, Colorado offices to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.\nThis position is expected to begin ASAP.\nTasks will include:\nConducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.\nProduce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance\nField document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation.\nSupporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.\nInterpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.\nTravel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related field and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.\nValid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.\nSubject to Background check.\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nUS Citizen or Permanent Resident.\nPreferred Qualifications\nRelevant years of field experience in environmental consulting.\n40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Supervisory.\nMaster’s Degree is a plus.\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nExcellent attention to Health and Safety.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not offered for this role.\nRelocation is not offered for this role.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
