Tulsa, OK 74117.\nOperates electrostatic painting equipment to spray negatively charged paint particles onto positively charged work pieces in order to paint parts for cranes, winches, or truck bodies by performing the following duties:\nCleans and prepares surface for painting.\nCleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses as needed.\nDries parts prior to paint application using air gun.\nHand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas or apply rust preventative.\nInspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas to ensure that painted areas match quality specifications.\nMaintains paint equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.\nMeasures paint and solvent levels daily.\nMixes paint according to specifications with viscometer to regulate consistency according to changes in atmospheric conditions.\nMonitors manometers to ensure paint filters are clean enough to operate properly; changes filters when manometer indicates.\nMoves switches and dials to start flow current, and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment.\nPerforms all quality control tests as required including the wash system and manometers.\nReadjusts pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating.\nSets up and troubleshoots paint equipment.\nSprays primer or undercoating on parts.\nTurns valves and observes gauges to set pressure and to control flow of paint to each spray station.\nPerforms Paint Prep duties as needed.\n$22.00 hr. plus $1.00 differential pay when working 3rd shift hours.
