Technical Product Writer

Looking for highly motivated Technical Product Writer to bolster our US and India teams. MP Consulting is a Chicago-based product development firm staffed with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware engineers working on cutting edge products in the consumer, medical, and automotive industries. We are expanding our team to continue to deliver quality solutions to our customers. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to gather and interpret technical information.Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and comprehensive product specifications.Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, including features, functionality, performance criteria, and technical requirements.Create and update Product Requirements Documents, High Level and Low Level Requirements Documents, Product Test Plans, and other technical documentation.Ensure that product specifications are accurate, complete, and consistent with company standards and industry regulations.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that product specifications are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.Previous experience in technical writing or product documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with product development lifecycle.Proficiency in technical writing tools and software.
