This role works closely with carriers, warehouse teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries, accurate documentation, and optimal freight performance. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in controlling freight costs, maintaining service levels, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n*Transportation & Freight Management*\n\n* Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, air, ocean as applicable).\n* Schedule pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance.\n* Negotiate rates and assist in managing carrier relationships.\n* Audit freight invoices for accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies.\n* Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues.\n* Support RFP processes and carrier bid events.\n\n*Operational Coordination*\n\n* Work closely with warehouse and fulfillment teams to align shipping schedules with production timelines.\n* Ensure proper documentation for all shipments (BOLs, packing lists, export documents, etc.).\n* Maintain accurate shipment records in ERP/TMS systems.\n* Monitor freight KPIs including cost per shipment, on-time delivery, and claims ratio.\n\n*Inventory & Compliance*\n\n* Manage freight claims and damage reports.\n* Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.\n* Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed.\n\n*Cost Control & Continuous Improvement*\n\n* Identify cost-saving opportunities in shipping methods and carrier selection.\n* Analyze freight data to identify trends and recommend improvements.\n* Assist leadership in forecasting freight budgets and tracking spend.\n* Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n*Education & Experience*\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).\n* 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.\n* Experience in warehouse or fulfillment environments strongly preferred.\n\n*Skills & Competencies*\n\n* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.\n\n_*Labor Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
