The person selected for this role will work closely with multidisciplinary work teams throughout the Beyond New Horizons (BNH) organization to leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance data visibility, and support mission critical decision making.\n\nOpen to external candidates\n\nJob Summary\nThe successful candidate will utilize Power Platform tools, including PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. The candidate will support initiatives across AEDC while performing the following job duties:\n\nJob Duties\nDesign, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both canvas and model-driven apps, to automate and improve business processes across multiple organizations at Arnold AFB.\nBuild interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI to provide actionable insights into operational performance, maintenance metrics, and organization KPIs\nCreate and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to eliminate manual processes, improve data accuracy, and increase organizational efficiency\nConfigure and manage Dataverse environments, including data modeling, security roles, and entity relationships to support application development\nCollaborate with stakeholders across the mission areas to gather requirements, define user stories, and deliver solutions that meet mission needs\nIntegrate Power Platform solutions with existing enterprise systems, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other data sources as required.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for developed applications and dashboards\nProvide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for deployed solutions\nFollow established development standards, change management processes, and cybersecurity requirements as applicable to DoW environments\nIt is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\nBasic Qualifications\nB.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another relevant technical field from an accredited college or university\nMinimum three years’ experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps, Dataverse)\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of War Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network\nDue to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience developing PowerApps with SQL Server or Dataverse as the backend data store\nProficiency creating PowerBI reports and dashboards, including DAX formulas, data modeling, and data transformations\nWorking knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365\nMicrosoft certification in Power Platform products (PL-100, -200, -300, and/or -400).\nFamiliarity with Azure services such as Azure SQL especially as they relate to extending Power Platform capabilities\nKnowledge of REST APIs and experience integrating third party systems with Power Platform using custom connectors\nExperience with Javascript, Typescript, or C# for developing custom connectors, plug-ins, or PowerApps Component Framework controls.\nExperience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices for PowerPlatform\nExperience working in government contractor for Department of War (DoW) environments with an understanding of applicable cybersecurity frameworks\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salaries\nContinuing education assistance\nMultiple healthcare benefits packages\n401K with employer matching\nPaid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday schedule\n\nWho We Are\nU.S. Citizenship is required.
