Role Description This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Warsaw, NY. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, communication, and swallowing disorders. They will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, deliver therapies to improve their communicative abilities, and provide education and support to residents and their families. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal care for residents. Qualifications Proficiency in Speech Therapy and a deep understanding of related techniquesKnowledge and experience in evaluating and treating DysphagiaExpertise in identifying and addressing Communication and Language DisordersStrong ability to develop and implement patient-specific therapeutic plansExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and medical staffCurrent licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New YorkMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programExperience working with geriatric populations or in a rehabilitation setting is a plus
