Project Manager INewark, DE Your role in our success will be: This position carries the responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various projects valued between $1-10M associated with gas distribution and transmission. Organizes multi-disciplinary teams through project lifecycles consisting of project creation, budgeting, monitoring, and making adjustments when required. What you'll be working on:Leads, with supervision, multi-disciplinary project teams; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling various gas distribution and transmission construction projects valued at $1-10MWith support of seasoned PMs, monitors project progress according to established timelines, recommends budget adjustments when necessary, and meets with contractors weekly.Assists with the development of Gantt charts and briefs business unit leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones.Monitors the project activities to ensure alignment with all State, Federal and Company safety requirementsApplies technical knowledge and project management skills to address unforeseen issues or concerns with the project and takes action to resolveGeneral understanding of external regulations and requirementsAssist with selection, review of contractor progressConducts project meetings to review progress, provide updates and identify risks Who you are:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Project ManagementInternship preferredValid Driver's License requiredWhat's in it for you?
