You will:\nAssist in maintaining a clean, orderly, safe job site.\nSupervise and coordinate installation of self-performed and subcontractor work.\nTrack daily progress of work and the scheduled delivery dates for all material and equipment.\nOrganize, distribute, and manage all construction documents for field office.\nTrack and coordinate change order work with subcontractors.\nAssist in production and management of the three-week look ahead schedules.\nOrganize inspections, permits, and occupancy approval documents for closeout and help with creating the As-built Drawings.\nImplement and enforce safety compliance program with all on-site personnel.\nComplete Daily Job Log.\nConduct and implement D+H pre-punch correction and architect’s punch list of corrections.\nMaintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.\nWhat’s Required by You\nThe ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to managing complex projects and be personable, proactive, and organized. You will have:\nA minimum of 4 year experience as an assistant superintendent, construction foreman, or equivalent role.\nA thorough knowledge of construction systems, materials, procurement processes, code compliance, and safety protocols.\nProficiency with reading blueprints and specifications.\nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.\nExperience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore construction management software is a plus.\nOSHA 10/30 Construction certification preferred.\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\nDemonstrated strong and resourceful problem-solving abilities.\nWell-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with diverse personalities.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and using a computer\nVisual acuity to read documents and use computer screens accurately\nManual dexterity for operating office equipment and handling documents\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally (e.g., equipment, materials, or supplies)\nWalking and climbing stairs while on site; must be able to navigate construction environments safely\nExposure to outdoor conditions and ability to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hat) while at jobsite\nMust be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work at job sites on a regular basis. Familiarity with local construction markets and contractors. No relocation assistance will be offered.
