Oracle VBCS Developer

Role: Visual Builder Developer – Oracle ERP Cloud ExtensionsLocation: Washington, DC - Hybrid Duration: 12 MonthsType of contract: W2/C2CJob Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Builder Developer with experience in building extensions for Oracle ERP Cloud using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in developing custom web and mobile applications, integrating them with Oracle ERP Cloud, and utilizing the Oracle Cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on extending and enhancing Oracle ERP Cloud functionalities through tailored, user-friendly applications that meet business needs.Key Responsibilities:Develop, configure, and deploy custom applications and extensions for Oracle ERP Cloud using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).Design and implement robust, scalable applications that integrate with Oracle ERP Cloud, utilizing Oracle Cloud infrastructure and APIs.Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical feasibility of extensions.Customize Oracle ERP Cloud functionalities by building extensions that enhance user experience and business processes.Build dynamic user interfaces (UIs) using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and VBCS.Ensure seamless data integration with Oracle ERP Cloud using REST APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues within custom applications and integrations.Create technical documentation and provide training and support to end users and team members.Participate in code reviews, ensuring the adherence to best practices and coding standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies and features to drive continuous improvement of ERP solutions.Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience as a Visual Builder Developer or similar role, with a focus on Oracle ERP Cloud extensions.Proven experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for building web and mobile applications.Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern web development practices.Hands-on experience integrating with Oracle ERP Cloud through REST APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) and the underlying data models.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Preferred Qualifications:Oracle certifications such as Oracle Cloud Developer or Oracle Integration Cloud.Experience working with PaaS and SaaS Oracle Cloud solutions.Knowledge of Oracle JET and Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.Key Skills:Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)Oracle ERP CloudREST APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)JavaScript, HTML5, CSSAgile/Scrum MethodologyOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
