This role focuses on promoting crop protection products, seed solutions, crop nutrition programs, and agronomic services while providing trusted technical advice to customers.The successful candidate will combine sales expertise with agricultural knowledge to identify opportunities, support farm productivity, and drive business growth across a designated territory.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with agricultural producers and farming operations.Promote crop protection, seed, fertilizer, and agronomic solutions.Conduct on-farm consultations and sales presentations.Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.Develop customer proposals, quotations, and product recommendations.Monitor agricultural market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing account support.Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems.Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.Essential Requirements (Screening Criteria)High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in sales, business development, customer service, or agricultural operations.Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.Preferred RequirementsAgronomy, agriculture, crop production, or farm management experience.Previous agricultural sales experience.Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Business, or a related field.Experience presenting solutions and negotiating with customers.Knowledge of crop inputs, fertilizer programs, seed products, and crop protection solutions.Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.Ideal Candidate ProfileAgriculture or agronomy background.Consultative sales experience.Strong understanding of farming operations and crop production.Self-motivated with excellent territory management skills.Ability to translate technical agronomic recommendations into commercial sales opportunities.
