Position Summary: Have fun in a positive atmosphere with friendly co-workers! Maintain clean and appealing guest rooms and common areas according to quality standards of the property, including extra disinfecting and cleaning procedures to help combat the spread of COVID-19. Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and interacting with guests throughout your day The opportunity to work at our sister hotel Courtyard by Marriott helps to keep things fresh and engaging each day! Essential Functions: Cleaning up to 15 guest rooms per shift to Marriott standards, with a strong attention to detail Ability to load & operate a washer and dryer, as well as fold laundry Maintaining a positive attitude, and respectfulness of others Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bed and bathrooms, in accordance with property and brand specifications in a timely manner Maintain clean and safe work areas (hallways, laundry room, chemical rooms) Assist co-workers when your help is needed Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities in a positive and helpful manner Listen and respond positively and professionally to guests' requests or complaints; interact with guests in a friendly and cheerful manner as directed by leadership Physical Requirements: Must be able to be mostly on your feet for 8 hours in a day. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to carry 25 lbs. up to a distance of 100 ft. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, grasp, push and pull.
