The Program Director represents Southwest Key Programs in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current youth/families, funding sources, suppliers, and the community served. Required to work flexible schedules to facilitate program services.\nEssential FUNCTIONS: Ensure all contractual requirements and grant specific financial requirements are met.\nAdhere to and implementation of the terms of the contract in accordance with the funding source and Southwest Key’s Programs policy and procedures.\nOutreach and recruitment of clients and enrollment and meeting monthly and annual targets.\nMonitor and evaluate all data in the Southwest Key Programs database and pursue a corrective action plan if outcomes and date are not meeting program model expectations. Assure continuous quality improvement.\nEnsure that all required reports are submitted to the Regional Executive Director, Funding Source, and national headquarters in a timely manner.\nEnsure that all billings and documents that are submitted to national headquarters are complete, accurate, and on time.\nProvide leadership, supervision, and role modeling to all employees, volunteers and/or contractors.\nComply with all employment and labor laws.\nEnsure the safe condition of the building, vehicles, and all equipment.\nAddress all problematic work performance in accordance with company policy.\nRecruitment and hiring of all staff at the program.\nInitiate and maintain community involvement with local juvenile justice boards, stakeholders, and juvenile justice entities and community partners.\nDevelop and maintain productive relations with various community agencies.\nMonitor and maintain compliance with organization, licensing, and funding sources for all program departments.\nEstablish the Community Collaborative Coalition (CCC) and facilitate quarterly meetings with assistance from the program team.\nProvide virtual services and facilitate virtual meetings as needed.\nTransportation of clients as needed.\nMaintain open and consistent communication with Regional Executive Director.\nMaintain all required training and certifications.\nTravel as needed for training, meetings, and conferences.\nInitiate and maintain effective communication with all program staff members.\nAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.\nAttend and participate in all required professional trainings and workshops.\nWork evening and weekend hours.\nMust be prepared to administer emergency First Aid, CPR, AED and/or Handle with Care techniques to youth and adults regardless of the time of day or hour of the shift, the size of the youth, or the staff's level of personal fatigue.\nIn the event of an emergency, immediately respond (i.e. run, jump, kneel, etc.) to the scene and provide care and/or supervision to preserve the safety and wellbeing of youth and adults.\nOperate a motor vehicle on public roads as required by the position.\nPerform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and level of the position.\nQualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS: Education Requirements: A combination of one of the following:\nBachelor’s degree in social service or related field with a total of five (5) years supervisory/administrative experience.\nA Masters's degree in social services or related field, with a total of two (2) years supervisory/administrative experience with at-risk youth.\nAbility to clearly read, write, and communicate information to internal and external stakeholders.\nRequires computer proficiency and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment.\nMust be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and hours outside the regular workday, based on organizational needs.\nObtain and maintain First Aid, CPR, AED certification and/or Handle with Care certification as required by funder.\nMaintain a valid driver's license and status as a qualified driver under the Company’s Vehicle Safety Guidebook standards.\nMust maintain reliable transportation with required registration and vehicle insurance as required by funder.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position involves daily interaction at various client locations, with work schedules subject to change based on operational needs. The work environment may include noise levels ranging from mild to moderate.
