Packaging system\nThe ideal candidate will be agile, possess high work ethic, and embrace Red Jacket Orchard's core values. You are self-driven, have excellent time management skills, able to work flexible hours and are committed to continuous improvement.\nEssential Responsibilities/Duties:\nEmbrace and exemplify our core values (RITE = Respect, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence). Operating bottle filling equipment, case packing equipment, or press machines\nSet-up and preparation of the equipment.\no Use gages, scales, etc.\no Use Hand Tools to complete set-up\nEfficiently operating the machines in accordance with good manufacturing processes\no Must have understanding of machine controls\no Must have mechanical aptitude\nPerform quality checks on products, juice, or packaging as needed\nOperate equipment to production standards needed by the day's schedule\nFollow process steps\nPerform document control\nPerform other job-related tasks as required.\nCertifications/Licenses: Not required.\nQualifications, Skills and Abilities:\nHigh school diploma or GED required with interest in manufacturing.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a food plant manufacturing environment is preferred.\nMust have at least 1 year prior machine operating experience, with 3 years preferred.\nBi-lingual (Spanish/English) is helpful, not required.\nStrong knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP), and food safety preferred.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required\nAble to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.\nMaintains a positive outlook and able to work cross-functionally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.\nExhibits adaptability in working hours and demonstrates the ability to collaborate with all team members.\nProlonged periods of time on your feet rotating to various workstations within the manufacturing floor.\nNight shift and overtime are required with occasional weekend shifts.\nNoise level is usually moderate.\nPPE is required on the production floor.\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
