Job Description NOW HIRING – UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLATION CREW MEMBERSJOB DUTIES: WORK OUTSIDE ALL DAY LONG, YOU WILL BE INSTALLING WATERLINE INA TRENCH AND BE REQUUIRED TO DIG WITH SHOVEL GENERAL LABOR AND OTHER DUTIES THAT REQUIRE PHYSICAL HANDS ON LABOR. WE WORK OUT OF TOWN FIVE DAYS A WEEK YOU MUST STAY ON SITE DURING THE WEEK.Work is on the road five days a week per diem paidSouthern Contractors Group (SCG) is an underground utility installation company specializing in the installation of new water and sewer lines for cities, government entities, and residential water companies.We are currently looking for dependable, hard-working employees who are detail-oriented, motivated, and take pride in doing quality work.job duties; equipment spotting, general labor, hand work installing and assembling waterlines valves and restraintsJOB DETAILS:• Full-time position• Work primarily Monday through Friday• Some overtime may be required and will be paid accordingly• Weekend work may occasionally be required for special circumstances, but this is rare• Paychecks are issued every 2 weeksTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:This position may require out-of-town work depending on the project location and where the employee lives.• SCG will provide and pay for hotel accommodations when overnight stays are required• Employees will receive a daily per diem allowance for each day worked while out of townREQUIREMENTS:• Must have reliable transportation to travel to job sites• Must be dependable and punctual• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying conditions• Construction or underground utility experience is preferred, but not required for all positions• Must be willing to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work safely as part of a teamIf you are looking for steady work with a company that values dependable employees and quality workmanship, we encourage you to apply.Apply today to join the SCG team.
