Join the Snowflake team.\r\nOur Solution Engineering organization is seeking an Application Architect who can provide hands-on expertise and support while working with technical decision makers to design and architect analytical solutions built on the Snowflake Data Cloud.\r\nThis is a strategic role that works closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and the broader field organization to ensure successful execution and customer adoption of Snowflake's solutions.\r\nIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO\r\nConvey the strategic advantages and technical application of Snowflake's capabilities for Applications, address client inquiries, and conduct follow-up engagements to facilitate sales progression.\r\nArticulate Snowflake's Application functionalities and provide a comparative analysis with competitor offerings for prospective clients.\r\nAscertain client-defined success metrics for the adoption and utilization of Snowflake's Application features.\r\nRecognize, address, and reconcile discrepancies between Snowflake's methodologies and client-specific requisites concerning Application features.\r\nProvide comprehensive resolutions to client objections and concerns.\r\nDevelop and deliver bespoke demonstrations that highlight Snowflake's value proposition, tailored to address specific client requirements pertaining to application functionalities.\r\nDemonstrate the ability to elucidate Snowflake's security, privacy, and governance considerations with respect to Applications.\r\nBe the technical expert in the room that positions Snowflake's application features and value to technical stakeholders at Snowflake's customers across the Americas.\r\nPartner with Snowflake account teams and customer champions to scope and drive POCs to success and technical wins that prove the value of Snowflake's capabilities, including executive readouts and business value cases.\r\nPublish content that helps the team and company scale beyond your individual efforts, like blog posts, presentations at conferences, or technical collateral like notebooks and demos.\r\nFunction as the principal technical authority, articulating Snowflake's application functionalities and value proposition to technical stakeholders within customer organizations across the Americas.\r\nON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:\r\n5+ years Data intensive Application architecture experience\r\n5+ years of SQL and SQL data modeling\r\nStrong presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.\r\nBachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.\r\nKnowledge of and experience with Kubernetes or Docker\r\nFamiliar with architecting on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)\r\n3+ years of Python programming experience\r\nBONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING\r\nAWS Solution Architect Associate or similar\r\nOther programing languages experience (Java, JavaScript)\r\nAgentic applications and tools\r\nStreamlit\r\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. The estimated base salary for this role is $155,000 - $216,500.\r\nAdditionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's equity plan.\r\nThis role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.\r\nEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
