The Information Technology (IT) Program Manager for CHGi is responsible for assisting the VP, Security and Information Systems with leading IT efforts to support enterprise initiatives focused on the ongoing transformation of CHGi and subsidiary business operations. The IT Program Manager will oversee multiple IT projects and ensure they align with the organization's strategic goals by developing project plans, managing budgets, and tracking progress and performance metrics.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nSupport the VP, Security & Information Systems with leading IT efforts across the US business units\r\nIT Program Strategy and Execution – assist in the development and implementation of operational and strategic IT programs with defined objectives and roadmaps that are aligned with organizational goals\r\nOversight and Coordination – develop project plans and oversee each to completion, to include supervising and coordinating teams working on multiple projects\r\nResource and Budget Management – assist in the development, forecasting, and management of the IT budget with focus on resource and organizational efficiencies\r\nLicensing – forecast and ensure availability of licenses to support users and infrastructure\r\nCommunication – ensure effective management of change to communicate with stakeholders and anticipate challenges and develop mitigation strategies prior to implementation\r\nCompliance – ensure existing and new projects comply with NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)\r\nOther Job Functions\r\nComply with all government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures\r\nEnsure compliance with the Chemring Operational Framework, Code of Conduct and U.S. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct\r\nSpecial projects and other duties as assigned\r\nSupervisory Responsibility\r\nN/A\r\nEducation / Certification\r\nA bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field\r\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred\r\nCompTIA Project+ preferred\r\nExperience\r\nMinimum of three years' prior experience as an IT Project or Program Manager, systems analyst or other technical positions\r\nDemonstrated experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and managing projects\r\nAdditional Skills and Qualifications\r\nMust be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance, as needed\r\nStrong time management and problem-solving skills.\r\nOrganized, punctual, and deadline-driven\r\nAbility to work independently and prioritize work effectively.\r\nTeam player who proactively pitches in where needed\r\nProficiency with MS Office products\r\nAbility to identify key barriers/core problems and identify solutions\r\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively convey updates and feedback to various stakeholders\r\nPhysical and Other Requirements\r\nLifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Use of computer.
