Saw Operator (3rd Shift)","description":"The Foundry Saw Operator is part of an established team in a fast-paced environment, responsible for performing various production tasks in saw cutting operations.\n\n*Schedule:*\n\n*Sunday - Friday*\n\n*11pm - 7:30am*\n\n*Here are some of the great benefits that we offer:*\n\n* Competitive pay ( + Foundry Premium $3.00/hour)\n* Company paid health and dental benefits.\n* Paid vacation\n* 401K Plan with company match\n* Opportunity for career stability and growth\n* Tuition reimbursement program\n\n*Responsibilities: *\n\n* Ensures cut orders are maintained in the planned schedule to achieve on time delivery to internal and external customers.\n* Receives and inspects incoming raw material and produces a quality product with attention to detail.\n* Responsible for picking, cutting, kitting, and serialization of material to be delivered to internal business units.\n* Carefully remove rejected billets from the cutting table with the help of hoist mounted on neat the cutting machine.\n* Rejected materials should be clearly marked or labeled before taken to the scrap pile. Specifies reason for rejection, cast number and weight should be recorded on the paperwork.\n* Inspect the cut billets and perform the required quality checks.\n* Forklift Driving is required to complete the assignments.\n* Reads and interprets work orders and blueprints.\n* Works on projects simultaneously to maximize production efforts and eliminate down time.\n* Actively engages in safety of self and others within the facility, including holding internal customers and contractors responsible for best-in-class safety.\n* Maintains equipment and supplies.\n* Works with trade personnel and maintenance departments to sustain optimal productivity.\n* Maintains a clean and organized work area with attention to quality and safety standards.\n* Contributes to continuous improvement activities as needed.\n* Follows directions of immediate supervisor and functional lead to complete daily tasks.\n* Other duties as needed\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment\n* Minimum 1 Year of forklift driving experience\n* High School Diploma or GED\n* Should be able to do basic Mathematical calculations\n* This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nThe pay for this position is $22.25/hr. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
