Full Time Group Home Caregiver

We are looking for experienced, compassionate caregivers to provide care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities residing in our group homes. Responsibilities and Duties The duties performed on a regular basis include, but are not limited to: Person-centered care for our residents Supervision of the residents Assisting them with daily needs (i.e., eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.) Preparing meals Social activities Transporting in a company vehicle Medication administration All household duties needed to maintain a clean and safe home Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited school required One-year paid caregiving experience required Preferred experience with adults who have Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities Must pass level 2 background screenings and drug test Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with a 3-year good driving record **All necessary training will be provided** Benefits: Group Health/Life Insurance 9 Paid Holidays Generous Paid Time Off Accrual Direct Deposit Amazing co-workers EOE/Drugfree Workplace Qualified candidates may apply through Indeed or in person at Ridge Area Arc, 4352 Independence St., Avon Park, Florida 33825.
