Psychiatrist, Department of Psychiatry, Rowan-Virtua SOM Job no: 501427 Work type: Regular Full-Time Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey Categories: Faculty - School of Osteopathic Medicine Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a psychiatrist to join our growing Department of Psychiatry located in Southern New Jersey. This is a full-time position with an academic faculty appointment. Candidates with experience to obtain the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor will be considered. The selected candidate will be expected to provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within two health systems in South Jersey. This role will work closely with the clinical staff for the day-to-day treatment of patients as well as in an academic capacity to teach medical students, residents, and allied health professionals. The position is available for academic promotion within the university. Requirements: Valid NJ Medical License CDS DEA Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry Salary: In compliance with the State of New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $260,000-$280,000.
