Job Description High School C Team Girls Basketball Coach:Marshall High School is looking for a dedicated, motivated, and student-centered High School C Team Girls Basketball Coach to lead and grow our high school program. The Coach is responsible for assisting in developing a competitive program that emphasizes character, academic achievement, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a positive and inclusive experience for all student-athletes.Key Responsibilities that Assistant Coach Supports:Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the school programDevelop practice plans and game strategies aligned with program goalsTeach and reinforce fundamental skills, discipline, and sportsmanshipFoster a culture of accountability, respect, and academic successSupervise and mentor assistant coaches if applicableEnsure compliance with school district, state athletic association, and league rulesCommunicate effectively with athletes, parents, administrators, and staffPromote player safety, including proper conditioning and injury preventionSupport off-season training, player development, and program growthRepresent the school positively within the communityPreferred AttributesTeaching certification or ability to teach within the district (if applicable)Experience building or sustaining a competitive programPositive role model who emphasizes character and integrity
