Experience in both Windows and LINUX development a plus. The ideal candidate performs productively in a fast-paced work environment, seeks out innovative solutions to problems, has excellent communication and leadership skills, works well independently and as part of a team including customer interactions, and is passionate about their work and is eager to be part of a dynamic group of focused and creative individuals.\nThe employee is expected to assist in the design, development, and implementation of solutions in a collaborative environment. Candidate must be willing to work assignments within agreed-to budgets and schedules. Solutions must be consistent with organizational processes.\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nBachelor's degree in GIS/Earth Science, related Engineering field, or equivalent experience\nBackground in one or more of the following areas: Image Science, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing/Data Fusion, Geo-Imaging/Processing, Spectral/Imagery Analysis\nExperience in executing projects through the full development lifecycle, from requirements through customer acceptance\nStrong interpersonal skills\nExperience with defining and executing business processes\nAbility to delegate and prioritize tasks\nProblem solving and ability to find multiple solutions to issues\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nExperience dealing directly with customers\nWindows Office Suite\nExperience in Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management\nExperience in Project Scheduling\nExperience authoring white papers and technical presentations a benefit\n\nPreferred Skills\n5+ years’ experience in project management and execution\n8+ years’ experience in the acquisition and manipulation of a wide variety of common aerial and satellite imagery, elevation data, and vector data\n8+ years’ experience in Photoshop, primarily in image clean up, and color correction\n8+ years’ experience in ArcGIS\n8+ years’ experience in creating moving and static 3D models, in software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Creator\n5+ years’ experience in database creation for multiple image generation systems, such as Aechelon, MetaVR, Vital, or Quantum3D\n5+ years’ leading team development efforts\nWorkflow Management tools (i.e. ClearCase, ClearQuest, Perforce, Atlassian, RTC)\nModeling Tools (i.e. Terra Vista, Creator, Maya, 3D Studio Max)\nGlobal Mapper\nErdas\nFME\nArcGIS Toolset\n\nSecurity Responsibilities\nMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
