Automotive Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Prepare & process customer requests for service appointments by phone or in-person
Provide assistance to customers with inquiries or concerns
Identify customer service problems, conduct research, prepare work
Resolve customer service-related issues in a timely & effective manner
Negotiate customer pay estimates
Manage shop volume & workflow
Interact with other departments to help ensure location success
Provide general information on Service Department policies & procedures
Automotive Customer Service Advisor Requirements:
Automotive customer service experience in a high-volume environment
Good computer skills
Strong customer service focus
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license
Automotive Customer Service Advisor Work Hours:
Monday - Friday
8-5
40 hours a week

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Create service orders and schedule appointments
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates for automotive repairs and services
- Upsell additional services or recommended maintenance
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
- Ability to accurately estimate repair costs and timeframes
- Knowledge of air brake systems, shocks, struts, and other automotive components
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
