We’re stronger together, and you’re a person who embraces being pushed out of your comfort zone.\nThe Corporate Development & Ventures team partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategy and execute inorganic opportunities including M&A and strategic investments in order to advance Coinbase’s mission and business objectives.\nWhat you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):\nConduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with senior team members to propose recommendations that shape company and product strategy.\nLead and drive the execution of mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, as well as sourcing opportunities, conducting market landscapes, performing financial analysis, coordinating all aspects of due diligence, and supporting integration planning and execution in partnership with senior team members.\nDevelop perspectives on key competitors, relative strengths and weaknesses, and implications for Coinbase.\nPartner with senior team members to cultivate cross-functional relationships with executives and assist in the implementation of high priority strategic initiatives.\nBuild strong connections with industry players, startups, and investors to be at the forefront of new developments.\nContribute to improving the Corporate Development team by enhancing existing processes and recruiting and developing new team members.\nWhat we look for in you (ie. job requirements):\nMinimum 6-8+ years experience at a top-tier company in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance or private equity.\nExcellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity for crypto.\nPassion for understanding new technology and desire to contribute to team initiatives.\nBA/BS degree.\nNice to haves:\nExperience in financial services and/or consumer Internet, especially if focused on digital currency.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional senior executives in a fast-changing environment.\nPID: P61376\nPay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
