You’ll help design and develop intuitive, performant web applications that integrate with our backend services and deliver seamless customer experiences that enhance the customer experience. These platforms allow large fleets and transportation companies to issue and manage credit for their drivers and operators—powering everything from digital spend controls to real-time transaction insights. You’ll focus on building robust and responsive user interfaces that help fleet managers configure controls, view reports, and streamline daily operations.\n\nHow you’ll make an impact:\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.\nBuild and evolve shared component libraries and design-system assets used across multiple Mobility applications.\nCraft systems designs, lead design decisions, and drive alignment with other senior engineers.\nLead comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and performance testing.\nIdentify bottlenecks and tech debt; drive incremental scalability, and stability improvements.\nDevelop and enhance automation frameworks for testing, monitoring, auto-scaling, continuous integration and deployment to reduce time to market\nPartner with Product, Design, and UX to deliver high-quality user experiences\nLead code reviews (comment, approve, seek revisions, merge), and champion engineering best practices, and continuously raise the quality bar.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues, devise fixes, author root cause analysis documents, and ensure lasting performance and reliability.\nConduct objective and comparative analyses of competing technologies to advise the team of pros and cons of a technology solution\nDevise mechanisms to create robust documentation (design docs, run books, change management docs, and readiness plans)\nDesign tech strategy for live-site support by designing monitoring systems via code, ensuring rapid incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement.\nDrive cross-team projects as a single-threaded-owner (STO) or tech lead, and actively unblock other engineers to make progress.\nGain hands-on experience with automation and AI-driven engineering solutions.\nExperience you'll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.\n8-10 years of professional experience in software engineering.\nStrong foundation in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving.\nExpertise in designing and developing complex web applications with scalability, availability, security, and reliability design tenets.\nProven experience with micro-frontends or module federation.\nStrong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or React.\nStrong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, or CSS3/SASS.\nExperience integrating front-end applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.\nSolid understanding of web security fundamentals including authentication, authorization, and data protection.\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills with a focus on user experience and maintainability.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative and empathetic mindset.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in computer science or software engineering.\n10 years of experience in software engineering.\nExposure to backend technologies such as Java(preferred) or Node.js.\nExperience with cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS/GCP/Azure.\nProficiency with relational or NoSQL databases; e.g. MySQL, MongoDB..\nExperience building and scaling design systems, with strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.\nThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
