You will operate CNC machines to produce components to specification while supporting quality, safety, and efficient production.\nLocation: Savanna, IL\nWork Arrangement: On-site\nSchedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM\nPay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience\nOther Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium\nEmployment Type: Full-time / Hourly\nWhat You'll Do as a CNC Operator\nOperate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.\nInspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.\nPerform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.\nRead and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments to verify specifications.\nComplete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.\nMaintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.\nFollow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.\nAbility to read and understand blueprints.\nBasic computer and math skills.\nAbility to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.\nAbility to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.\nA record of dependable work, reliable attendance, and punctuality.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious industrial manufacturing experience.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis role requires repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.\nEmployees in this role stand for extended periods and push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.\nThe position involves frequent bending and stooping.\nManual dexterity is required to handle small objects.\nEmployees work in a manufacturing environment where noise is present.\nThe physical requirements described above represent those needed to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nBenefits\nEligible employees across MacLean-Fogg and its affiliated companies have access to a comprehensive benefits program designed to support health, financial well-being, time away, and development.
