Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist - Petoskey, MI Overview:Join a premier healthcare facility in Petoskey, MI, as a Certified Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner. This top-tier health system is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The position will cover from June 9, 2026, to January 1, 2027, on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. You will be responsible for providing inpatient care in a hospital setting, with support from a dedicated team. Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients.Manage a variable daily patient census.Collaborate with APP and Nocturnist Physician for optimal patient outcomes.Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation and patient information management.Participate in on-call duties as required.Work 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Qualifications: Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Hospitalist Medicine.Active Michigan nursing license is required.Must reside in Michigan or be able to commute no flight options available.Ability to perform self-query through the NPDB within the last month.Strong communication and teamwork skills. License and Certification Requirements: Valid and active Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan (MI).Board Certification in relevant specialty.Completion of employee health requirements including flu and COVID-19 documentation, TB tests, and other vaccinations.Petoskey, Michigan, is a charming city located on the shores of Lake Michigan, known for its breathtaking natural beauty and vibrant community.
