Primary Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standardsMonitor machine performance and make necessary tool adjustments or replacementsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machiningInspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesSupport company goals by maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety in all operationsJob DutiesRun production lots and communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and outputPerform routine machine shop operations, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshootingIdentify and report defective materials or nonconforming parts to managementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper removal of metal shavings and debrisFollow all company quality standards, policies, and proceduresActively participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE requirementsPerform other duties as assignedEducation And QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMinimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required with the ability to independently perform setups and program edits; 5+ years preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentVeterans WelcomeAt NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
