count physical inventory; enter data into inventory records using computer and add or delete items to maintain appropriate balances in warehouse and toolroom.\r\nResponsible for shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, matching receiving paperwork to purchase orders and checking in merchandise.\r\nPerform receiving inspection; control non-conforming products.\r\nMove materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.\r\nSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.\r\nEnsure warehouse is organized, accessible and safe; maintain orderly work area.\r\nMark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.\r\nOpen bales, crates and other containers.\r\nRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributed via applicable software system.\r\nComplete and maintain QMS forms and documents.\r\nOperate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and heavy lifting apparatus; operate office equipment.\r\nMaintain cleanliness of warehouse; sweep, dust and mop.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\r\nAt least two years' experience in warehouse related work preferred.\r\nTrained in proper use of hand truck, forklift or other heavy equipment.\r\nFamiliar with MS Office and general computer applications.\r\nAble to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\r\nAble to write routine reports and correspondence.\r\nPhysical and Mental Demands\r\nFrequently required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl.\r\nOccasionally required to sit, climb or balance.\r\nMust regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.\r\nVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\r\nOperate forklift and other heavy equipment.\r\nWill spend majority of time in warehouse;
