This includes teaching and supporting daily living tasks, documenting skills and progress, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and assisting with transportation to various appointments and activities.\nProvide support to youth by teaching and reinforcing daily living tasks to promote independence.\nAdhere to documentation requirements, including recording youth’s skills, progress, and any incidents or relevant interactions.\nEnsure facility cleanliness, safety, and security at all times, conducting regular checks and maintenance.\nConduct room searches and perimeter searches to maintain safety and security.\nMaintain awareness of each participant’s whereabouts throughout the day to ensure their safety.\nTransport youth to internships, jobs, vocational/technical classes, and appointments as needed.\nConduct pat searches and support routine safety protocols.\nDevelop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with the team.\nProvide mentorship, positive role modeling, and conflict resolution support.\nConduct regular check-ins with youth to monitor their well-being and progress.\nAssist with conflict de-escalation and maintaining a respectful environment.\nMaintain confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.\nParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.\nMonitor youth behavior and intervene when necessary to promote safety and compliance.\nAssist with administrative tasks such as completing reports, incident documentation, and data entry.\n\nSchedule and Rate of Pay:\n40 hours per week:\nMonday 11:00am-11:00pm\nThursday 3:00pm-11:00pm\nFriday 3:00pm-11:00pm\nSaturday 9:00am-9:00pm\nHourly paying position at $22.50 per hour\nEligible for time and a half/ overtime\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\nMinimum 1-years' experience working with at-risk or court-involved adolescents - Required\nHigh school diploma or equivalent - Required\nA valid driver’s license - Required\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAbility to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations\nStrong communication and conflict resolution skills\nExperience working with diverse populations or culturally responsive practices\nDemonstrated understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues\nReliable transportation\nBilingual (English/Spanish) – preferred but not required\nLived experience – preferred but not required\n\nFull-Time Benefits:\nAt CJR, we pride ourselves on creating a compassionate, culturally responsive work environment and offering a comprehensive benefits package that encourages and supports a healthy work/life balance.
