You will work closely with GNC, software, and test teams to ensure accurate modeling and analysis to support design, verification, and mission planning efforts for Mira, Helios, and more.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop physics-based models of vehicle dynamics, fluid systems, and other subsystems as needed\n\nIntegrate subsystem models into end-to-end vehicle simulation frameworks\n\nCollaborate with design engineers to validate simulation models against analytical results and test data\n\nSupport system‑level analysis, trade studies, and performance assessments\n\nContribute to software and tool development to improve simulation workflows\n\nProvide simulation support for verification and validation of flight software\n\nParticipate in simulation reviews, test readiness reviews, and mission dress rehearsals\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field\n\n2+ years of experience in modeling and simulation of physical systems\n\nProficiency in C++ and Python\n\nStrong understanding of dynamics, thermodynamics, and/or fluid mechanics\n\nExperience with version control systems such as Git\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n\nMaster’s degree or higher in a relevant field\n\nExperience with space vehicle dynamics, propulsion, and/or thermal systems modeling\n\n3+ years professional experience developing simulations within C++\n\n5+ years demonstrated experience with multi-disciplinary simulation tools (e.g., Modelica, Simscape, or Amesim)\n\nExperience with software-in-the-loop (SIL) or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities\n\nAdditional Information\nCompensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
