Fleet Parts AssociateAldridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Fleet Parts Associate to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible delivering, stocking, tracking, and transporting parts from vendors to work sites both in-house and externally. This role is highly organized, hands-on, and critical to supporting mechanics and keeping a safe work environment.What You'll DoManage receipt, receiving, and storage of parts orders from third party and internal vendorsLeverage systems and technology to track, report, close, and communicate issues related to vendor ordersBe available for delivery or pick up of materials from vendors as needed to fleet or field personnelOversee purchase orders and net term requirements; communicate and partner with accounts payable to ensure vendor payments are made in a timely mannerInteract proactively and regularly with personnel from the fleet, yard, accounting, and third-party vendorsWho You AreMust have prior heavy truck or automotive parts experienceCurrent driver's license (non-CDL) and clean driving historyForklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certificationExperience with parts warehouse work flow and processingGeneral knowledge of desktop computer applications and electronic purchase order systemsGeneral knowledge of construction equipment; preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationPossesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projectsPhysical job requirements include being able to lift up to 50 lbsWho We AreAt Aldridge, we invite you to be a part of our dynamic team, where your skills are not only valued but crucial to our success. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus.
