The role involves working with real‑world models of weapons, radars, and command‑control systems, identifying and addressing system and software defects, and applying sound engineering practice to decompose complex problems into actionable solutions.\nResponsibilities Participate in design, development, integration, and testing of DoD products and technologies.\nUse and contribute to models of real‑world weapons, radars, and command‑control systems.\nIndependently identify and address system and software defects.\nApply systems and software engineering discipline to decompose complex problems and formulate solutions.\nBasic Qualifications Pursuing a BS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent STEM field.\nBasic knowledge of root‑cause analysis, problem‑solving skills, and statistical analysis.\nBasic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and/or MATLAB.\nBasic written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment.\nDesired Skills Basic knowledge of Agile development processes.\nBasic knowledge of static and dynamic systems.\nBasic knowledge of statistics, Monte Carlo analysis, and distributed simulation techniques.\nBasic knowledge of data science principles.\nSecurity Clearance Must be a U.S. citizen and a candidate for a Secret security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.\nLocation & Work Schedule Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.\nSchedule: 4×10‑hour days with 3 days off per week.\nPay Range $44,491 – $78,769 annually (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC).
