This includes distribution, transmission, gathering, storage and processing systems.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nUtilize computers and SCADA digital displays to determine sufficient operating pressures and to monitor and direct flow of natural gas or gas liquids though pipeline system\nDetermine load requirements using company approved forecasting model. Compare this forecast to forecasts based on analysis of current and predicted weather conditions, current system conditions, and operating objectives\nAnalyze and assist in identification and resolution of communication problems. Take appropriate action to minimize drastic reductions in pressure caused by line breaks or other unusual occurrences\nMonitor system gas or liquid quality and take appropriate action in response to changes\nCalculate and/or verify the following, including but not limited to:\nReceipts\nDeliveries\nStorage injections and withdrawals\nPipeline system load requirements\nTransportation imbalances\nCompile, prepare, and/or post information including but not limited to:\nStart/stop of receipt/delivery flows and compressors or pumps\nStorage injection and withdrawal requests\nField personnel call-outs\nNomination confirmations and changes\nGas quality issues\nSupervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) communication problems\nCommunicate information and/or instructions related to system operations and contractual obligations to company field personnel, schedulers, and pipeline controllers from other companies\nUtilize the ONEOK Communication System (OCS) for the following:\nEmergency/non-emergency communication\nSetting up conference bridge\nOne-Call center line locates\nTrain employees in performance of duties related to system operations\nResponsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
