Amperesand is building a global company and looking for talent across our geographies.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDefine reliability vision and roadmap, build and mentor a top-tier team, and embed reliability principles into design and development.\n\nDrive DFMEA and fault-tree analysis, influence architecture decisions, and set supplier reliability standards.\n\nBuild Amperesand’s flagship reliability lab from the ground up. Establish test protocols and partner with accredited labs for certifications.\n\nLead root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and leverage fleet data for predictive health insights.\n\nWork closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate reliability targets and feedback loops throughout development.\n\nQualifications\n\nTechnical degree (PhD preferred) or equivalent industry experience in electronics or reliability engineering.\n\n10+ years of experience in reliability engineering for power electronics.\n\n5+ years of experience managing a team of test, compliance, or reliability engineers.\n\nExpertise in accelerated testing, physics-of-failure, and reliability statistics.\n\nHands‑on experience with failure analysis techniques and tools.\n\nDelivered a high-volume product with field reliability matching demonstrated reliability.\n\nKnowledge of electrical safety and handling of high‑voltage hardware.\n\nMust have excellent communication skills.\n\nProven ability to build teams and infrastructure for reliability excellence.\n\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% including internationally.\n\nPlease note: This role requires working on‑site 5 days a week.
