This is a remote position.\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\nDevelops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.\nAnalyzes user needs and develops software solutions.\nDesigns or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.\nAnalyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.\nResearch, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.\nSets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.\nDesign embedded systems software; apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n12 years of IT experience with a HS diploma; 8 years’ w/Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years with a Masters degree.\nMinimum of 6 years’ hands on development experience with Java and JavaScript in Linux environments.\nMinimum of 6 years’ hands on development experience with NodeJS, Spring/Spring Boot and Python.\nMinimum of 6 years’ experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.\nDevelopment experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas, AWS CloudFormation; experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL AWS DynamoDB.\nAbility to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications; experienced with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.\nAbility to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications; ability to solve a range of problems independently.\n\nClearance Requirements:\n\nMust have a current/active Secret security clearance.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nOften positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
