Facilities Manager, New Pig Corporation
New Pig is looking for a reliable, full-time Facilities Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing New Pig facilities across Blair County. This position requires someone with solid experience and knowledge of facilities management, utility and construction disciplines, as well as personal construction skills. Also requires understanding and experience with preventive and predictive maintenance, negotiation and procurement, operational and capital budgeting/forecasting along with building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities
Work with leadership to manage and grow New Pig office and operational facilities to ensure productive, efficient and cost-effective work environments
Manage all corporate facility assets via the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) along with Predictive and Preventative maintenance techniques
Plan, direct and monitor scheduled preventive maintenance routines and inspections. Establish a regular inspection procedure throughout all buildings to determine if any elements require immediate attention and repair.
Manage a team of Buildings and Grounds and facilities professionals to execute daily maintenance and building projects; assign work, establish schedules, monitor performance, progress and completion of tasks.
Coordinate work assignments to meet schedules and budgets
Manage internal customer help desk requests for repairs, improvements and office furniture movement
Management of building security and fire systems
Coordinate with corporate EHS team to ensure a safe and healthy workplace while complying with all federal, state and local codes and environmental regulations
Participation on the Corporate Safety Team to help create and maintain a safe workplace for all company employees
Establish and maintain files of reference information, building drawings, data for preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, repair, modification or replacement of systems or components
For all construction projects determine scope of work, evaluate proposals, monitor progress and quality, and review before acceptance of work
Observe, monitor and enforce contractor/subcontractor performance on special projects, particularly in meeting job specifications, especially proper interpretation of work requirements to meet the intent of the spec., observe and approve contractor interfaces with subcontractors and monitor and assure that schedules are met
Work with manager to negotiate and manage maintenance, services and construction contracts
Review and approve invoices from suppliers
Manage annual operational and capital budgets to ensure efficient financial performance
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Facilities Management. Additional experience in construction management a plus.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills in the areas of conflict resolution, change management, negotiations, and effective listening & communications
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and develop strong business partner relationships
Knowledge and experience with CMMS systems
Competence with 2D or 3D CAD system, Electrical CAD abilities a plus

Additional time as projects demand
On call and response for emergency situations
