Through our curriculum, students explore entrepreneurship, health, teamwork, goal setting, and personal growth, creating a strong foundation for future success.\nJoin us as a Micro School Program Coordinator and play a key role in bringing this vision to life.\nWe're looking for an organized, outgoing, and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of our learning community.\nThis is not a teaching position. Instead, you'll help create an exceptional experience for students and families by coordinating communication, supporting classroom flow, welcoming prospective families, assisting students during independent work time, community outreach, social media, weekly newsletters and keeping the program running smoothly behind the scenes.\nIf you enjoy working with children, building relationships with families, staying organized, and wearing many hats, we'd love to meet you.\nDuties\nStudent Support\nSupport students ages 8–12 during independent curriculum and project work by providing encouragement, guidance, and accountability.\nFamily Communication\nServe as a communication link between parents and the Apogee team.\nRespond to parent questions and ensure families receive timely information.\nCoordinate schedules, reminders, and program communications.\nCreate a warm, welcoming experience for current and prospective families.\nAdministrative Support\nManage daily administrative tasks and maintain organized records.\nCoordinate calendars, attendance, forms, and program documentation.\nOrganize supplies, events, field trips, and special activities.\nSupport leadership with day-to-day operational needs.\nCommunity & Marketing\nGive tours to prospective families and share the Apogee mission with enthusiasm.\nCreate and schedule engaging social media content.\nWrite monthly newsletters and family updates.\nHelp promote community events and celebrate student accomplishments.\nHelp students stay focused, organized, and engaged throughout the morning.\nFoster a welcoming, positive, and respectful learning environment.\nAssist with classroom routines, transitions, activities, and special events.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.\nFriendly, outgoing personality with exceptional interpersonal skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfortable working with both children and adults.\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.\nDependable, proactive, and self-motivated.\nPositive attitude with a flexible, team-oriented mindset.\nComfortable using Google Workspace, email, and basic technology.\nPreferred\nExperience in school administration, office management, customer service, youth programs, childcare, or nonprofit organizations.\nExperience managing social media accounts and creating newsletters.\nEvent planning or community outreach experience.\nExperience coordinating communication with families.\nFamiliarity with alternative education, homeschooling communities, or youth mentorship programs.\nAbout YOU:\nYou're someone who naturally makes people feel welcome.\nYou enjoy connecting with families, supporting children, and keeping things organized behind the scenes.
