Install and configure cable modems, set-top boxes, and other necessary equipment.\nTesting and Troubleshooting:\nConduct tests to ensure proper functioning of installed systems. Identify and resolve technical issues, signal problems, and connectivity issues.\nMaintenance and Upgrades:\nPerform routine maintenance to ensure the ongoing reliability of cable systems. Upgrade systems to meet new technology standards and improve performance.\nCustomer Interaction:\nCommunicate with customers to explain the installation process, address concerns, and provide information on using cable services. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a professional and customer-friendly manner.\nSafety Compliance:\nFollow safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others during installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Use proper safety equipment and procedures, especially when working at heights or in adverse weather conditions.\nDocumentation:\nMaintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide documentation for customers and internal records.\nEquipment Management:\nEnsure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Report any faulty equipment and request replacements as needed.\nAdherence to Standards:\nFollow industry standards and regulations related to cable installation and maintenance.
