This person will also support the operation by assisting in security testing of the product.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMonitors the building daily, including scheduled interior and exterior security checksGreet and check-in site visitors such as contractors, vendors, interviews and customers of COMPANY Verifies identification passes of COMPANY staff, visitors, and vendorsCreate and assign badges for visitors and employees while maintaining the security badge databaseMonitors access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and video surveillance systemsPrimary contact for security, fire, and contract vendors associated with facilityProactively maintains an environment that is safe and secure in appearance and in actualityProvides professional and courteous service at all timesMaintains reports and security proceduresAnswers calls and directs them to appropriate COMPANY personnelMonitors security and fire procedures while maintaining records and reports for each areaMust be able to work closely with fire and security monitoring companies on a daily basisMust be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduledRequirementsEducation Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)High school diploma or equivalentExperience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)2+ years of security, law enforcement, or facilities safety experienceSkills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)Good written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and good appearance for assisting with customers/visitorsStrong attention to detailAble to follow detailed processes and procedures related to facility operationsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage120 hours paid vacation; 40 hours paid sick time2 paid floating holidaysAdoption assistant programCompany paid identity theft insuranceCompany paid life and disability coverageTuition reimbursement program401K plan with up to 3.5% Company matchAccess to discount programs for cell phone bill and insurance programs.
