If you share our passion, let's work together.\n\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking an Operations Associate to join a tight-knit team supporting our laboratory, office, and financial operations. This role reports to the Operations Director and supports procure-to-pay best practices, inventory and equipment management, helping to keep the lab running smoothly day-to-day. We're looking for someone detail-oriented and organized, comfortable working independently, and equally effective as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Boulder, CO.\n\nResponsibilities:\nManage the purchasing process end-to-end: submit and review purchase requests, purchase lab supplies, receive deliveries, and confirm receipt.\nAssist in invoice collection, processing, and payment.\nManage laboratory inventory and stock levels to increase efficiency of research operations.\nAssist technical team with sourcing and price scouting for chemicals and small equipment.\nMaintain lab equipment and infrastructure by tracking service, calibration, recertification, and maintenance schedules.\nEnsure compliance with safety committee guidelines, including hazardous waste and chemical hygiene oversight.\nProactively advocate for improved lab safety, cleanliness and organization.\nManage document workflows, including signature routing and recordkeeping.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field preferred, with 2+ years of experience in laboratory operations, inventory management, or a related technical environment.\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAble to multi-task and prioritize independently under competing demands.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business software.\nAbility to reach overhead, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with procurement and purchasing systems.\nExperience with environmental health and safety (EH&S).\nExperience in a biotech startup.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nA collaborative environment for innovative science and a mission-driven company.\nOpportunity for professional growth.\nAbility to contribute to key operations in a fast-growing startup.\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package (salary, bonus, and options) including a salary range of $55,000 - $80,000 per year (title and salary commensurate with experience).\n\nThink Bioscience is an equal opportunity employer and committed to a diverse workplace.
