Depending on experience.\n\nJOB SUMMARY\n\nThe position of the bartender is to provide an excellent guest experience, make signature cocktails, and offer recommendations regarding the local craft beers and wines offered.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nPrepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.\nInteract with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.\nAssess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.\nMix ingredients to prepare cocktails.\nPlan and present bar menu.\nCheck customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.\nRestock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.\nStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.\nComply with all food & beverage, health and safety regulations.\nSuperior knowledge of classic cocktails, as well as the capability to quickly and efficiently build, shake, and create them for clientele\nExemplify outstanding communication skills, with the aptitude to create unique experiences for clientele and promote wonderful customer service\nCheck in with clientele to ensure satisfaction\nEmbody a strong and efficient work ethic, including, but not limited to keeping a clean and tidy work area, keeping guest areas clean, polishing chinaware e.g. glassware, plate-ware, silverware\nComplete opening/closing duties, follow standards in place, as well as filling out prep/checklist\nAdhere to cash handling policies with the ability to perform credit card charges as well as provide guests with accurate bills and ring in all orders accurately and at the time of the sale\nMust have knowledge of pour-cost control, as well as participate in inventory, and determine adequate par levels\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n\nOne year of prior bartending experience preferred.\nPrior guest relations training.\nProper food safety training and certification as described by law.\nExperience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.) and reservation software (Toast).\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
