We are currently seeking a Sr Data Engineer - Advisor to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).\r\nPosition Overview\r\nWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the core Symphony platform team in an onshore capacity. This is a hands-on development role focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and warehousing solutions. The engineer will work within a local-first development model and is expected to be a strong, independent contributor capable of owning complex workstreams.\r\nDay to Day Job Duties\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Scala and SQL on Apache Spark.\r\nMonitor and support Phase 1 pipelines post go-live.\r\nInvestigate and remediate pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks.\r\nLead refactoring and cleanup of existing Phase1 code.\r\nOptimize existing solutions for performance and scalability.\r\nBuild and contribute to reusable patterns and automation frameworks.\r\nWork within TCCC's metadata-driven architecture.\r\nEnsure pipelines are used strictly for scheduling — ETL logic must remain in code.\r\nManage code using GitHub version control.\r\nContribute to discovery sessions to derive requirements directly from data.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\n8–10 years of hands-on data engineering experience.\r\nStrong understanding of Apache Spark and its core concepts.\r\nProficiency in Scala and/or Java — code-first approach required.\r\nAdvanced SQL skills.\r\nExperience with Azure Synapse.\r\nWorking knowledge of GitHub for source control.\r\nExperience with data warehousing and large-scale data integration.\r\nTravel: This position may require a commitment to 4 days/week in client's office in Midtown, ATL.\r\nDegree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\r\nNice to Have\r\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric.\r\nBackground in marketing data or consumer goods analytics.\r\nFamiliarity with metadata-driven architectures.\r\nNon-Negotiables\r\nMust be a hands-on builder.\r\nMust be available to mobilize immediately.\r\nAbout NTT DATA\r\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
