Key functions will include but are not limited to:Complete work and reading projects and pass required examsEstablish good working relationships with colleagues and management staff.Attain a basic working knowledge of state regulatory requirements for each line of business.Under direct supervision, perform the basic functions of loss control.Participate in job-shadow arrangements in various departments.Participate in agency visitations with underwriters, claim representatives and/or loss control representatives to begin developing customer contacts.Frequent travel, including overnights, is required.QualificationsBachelor's degree from four-year college or university requiredInternship or insurance work experience preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated excellence in Customer ServiceAbility to work independently & collaboratively, while handling multiple tasks in a dynamic fast paced environmentDetailed orientated, Problem Solver with strong interpersonal skillsProficient in Excel, Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and email systemsBe self-reliant & motivatedValid Driver's License requiredAdditional Company Details The Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.Sponsorship Details Sponsorship not Offered for this Role
