This on-site role offers flexibility, with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week. As a Staff Accountant, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy during close processes, and support financial reporting and intercompany analysis. You will also collaborate closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to drive process improvement and documentation across business units. This is a compelling opportunity to join a profitable, growth-focused company with strong margins and an experienced leadership team.Staff Accountant (Public Accounting or Manufacturing Exp Req) – Hybrid ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end and year-end close activities across 3 business unitsDocument close procedures and timelines for each business unitPrepare and process journal entries to ensure proper classificationReview and analyze general ledger postings to ensure accuracyInvestigate and resolve complex discrepancies via reconciliationsSupport with financial statement preparation and reportingMaintain and review intercompany matrix monthly for accuracy and completenessAssist management with tax compliance and accounting administrationSupport the preparation of annual external audits & address auditor inquiriesAnalyze, book, and validate accruals, identifying areas for adjustmentConfirm proper and timely revenue recognitionManage the evaluation of bad debt allowances and adjustmentsRespond to requests for financial information and dataRecommend internal controls to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting practicesStaff Accountant (Public Accounting or Manufacturing Exp Req) – Hybrid QualificationsBachelor's degree is required2+ years of public accounting OR 3+ years of manufacturing accounting experience is requiredExperience with general ledger analysis is requiredStrong Excel skills , including formatting, formulas (ex: VLOOKUP) & pivot tables, are requiredAbility to work on-site 3-4 days per week is required
