Android Developer Intern

EulerityNew York, NYApril 11th, 2026
Why This Role ExistsEulerity is an AI-native marketing automation platform — not a legacy tool with AI bolted on. We serve enterprise brands like Mastercard, UPS Store, Uber Eats, and European Wax Center, automating digital advertising across thousands of franchise locations. We've crossed $10M ARR, largely bootstrapped, and we're accelerating. Our Android app is a critical surface for how clients interact with the platform — and we're looking for an intern who doesn't just write Kotlin, but builds with AI as their primary development tool. At Eulerity, AI-first development isn't a buzzword — it's how we actually ship code. Our engineers use Claude Code, agentic coding workflows, and prompt engineering as core parts of their daily process. We expect you to do the same. You'll be building features that real users depend on, not a sandbox project that lives in a repo no one checks. If you've shipped an app, already use AI coding tools to move faster than your peers, and know the difference between a good prompt and a great system — read on.The Fast FactsCompensation: $16-18/hourLocation: NYC Midtown — 3 days/week in officeSchedule: 30 hours/weekAI Tools: Unlimited. Claude Code, Copilot, whatever makes you sharp — we don't gatekeep tools here.Start Date: As soon as possiblePerks: In-office lunches and unlimited snacksWhat You'll Actually DoThis isn't a "shadow a senior dev and update button colors" internship. You'll own real work that ships to real users.Take an active role in developing, testing, and maintaining our Android app using AI-first development practices — Agentic coding tools are your daily driversImplement new features end-to-end, from design through deployment, leveraging AI at every stage: architecture decisions, code generation, debugging, testing, and reviewWrite effective prompts and system instructions as a core engineering skillCollaborate with engineers, UX designers, and product managers across all phases of the project lifecycleContribute to building smart, adaptive interfaces that leverage AI to personalize the user experienceWho You AreWe're looking for someone who's technically sharp, builds with AI by default, and is energized by shipping things that matter — not just completing tickets.Non-NegotiablesCurrently a student based in the NYC tri-state areaAt least 1 year of Android development experience using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android StudioProficient in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus) with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and frameworksYou already build with AI — Claude Code, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools are part of how you work, not something you've tried onceStrong prompting skills — you understand how to write effective prompts and system instructions to get high-quality output from LLMsStrong UI development skills in Jetpack Compose / XML layouts and hands-on experience with Android libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Room, etc.)Knowledge of Android design patterns and architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)Experience with GitYou can take ownership of tasks and work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environmentBig DifferentiatorsYou're genuinely AI-native — you've restructured your entire development workflow around AI tools because it makes you dramatically faster, not because it's trendyExperience building or fine-tuning prompts for code generation, debugging, or automated testing workflowsYou've shipped something real outside of coursework: a side project, a hackathon app, a Play Store release — something you took from idea to existenceHands-on experience with Agile development frameworksExperience with unit testing and automated testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Espresso)Comfort working with large volumes of data and thinking about performance at scaleWhat Makes Eulerity DifferentWe are not a company that talks about AI. We are a company that runs on it.Our platform uses cross-learning AI agents that optimize across thousands of advertiser accounts simultaneously — not just oneWe have deep integration moats built over years with Google, Meta, Apple, and Microsoft — a barrier competitors can't replicate quicklyWe are lean, profitable, and intentional about every hire — even interns get real scope from week oneYour work will ship. It will be seen by real users, measured in real results, and recognized on the teamThis is a place where interns build things that matter.
