**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Machinist/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision machining, and a strong understanding of Fabrication and welding, line boring ,CAD software and CAM programming. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of various machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, coordinate measuring machines welding and torching.
**Duties:**
- Operate and maintain various machine tools, including line boring machine, welders, lathes, milling machines, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to produce precision parts and products.
- Use CAD software to design and create prototypes and production parts.
- Utilize CAM programming to create efficient and accurate machining processes.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate records of production.
- Use welder and line boring machine, welders, power tools and hand tools to complete tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Use a forklift to move materials around the production area as needed.
- Participate in training and continuous learning to improve machining skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement new machining processes and techniques to increase efficiency and productivity.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a Machinist and welder in a related role.
- Strong understanding of line boring, machining, fabrication and welding
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines and calipers.
- Experience with lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc programming is a plus.
