This role requires a deep focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients and colleagues.Essential Functions Project Support: Assist in transitioning projects from opportunity generation to kickoff, ensuring smooth handoff to Project Management. Customer Engagement: Travel to customer sites to understand technical and business needs; communicate effectively with internal teams to plan project requirements. Technical Tasks: Generate AWS and quotes, conduct internal product tests, oversee the test laboratory, and evaluate container dimensions to determine optimal solutions. Documentation: Compile User Requirements Specifications (URS), develop initial machine layouts, define solution costs, and ensure documentation complies with ISO 9001 standards. Risk & Process Management: Assess risks of proposed solutions, maintain process adherence, and support the Managing Director in ensuring procedural compliance. Representation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as needed.Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Fluency with Windows Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Fluency with 2D and 3D CAD systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Deep understanding of plant layout, technical drawings, and specifications. French or Spanish language skills will be an advantage. Experience with CRM software will be an advantage.Education And Experience Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer or related field degree:Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience.or an associate degree with 5+ years of experience.or 8+ years of experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork is performed largely in an office or climate-controlled warehouse environment. Some hours will be spent at various remote locations. Hours of work are generally during regular business. There will be some variation in work hours due to employee shift schedules, special projects, deadlines, customer needs and various other business concerns. Out of town and overnight travel, both local and international, is required for business and education, by air and/or auto. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds, as well as the ability to bend, kneel, walk or sit for extended periods of time.
